A History in Glass

With 300 years of glass blowing and a world renowned History of craftsmanship in Waterford, Dead Ball Displays strives to manufacture a high end customised display to compliment any line of product, with the initial unit manufactured for Hurling/GAA.

Our Custom Display units are manufactured to the highest standard and are designed with the individual requirements of the Client/Product in mind. Our Main unit has been designed as a Flagship product for Dead Ball Displays, who in conjunction with The Irish Handmade Glass Company who supply the coloured glass sliotars for the displays. The Irish Handmade Glass Company is situated within the Viking Triangle in Waterford.

Our Hurling/GAA unit is made of Ash and manufactured by local craftsmen in Waterford city with over 30 years experience in woodwork. All other Items pertaining to the unit i.e. Glass shelving/Doors, signage are all locally sourced in Waterford.

Derek Grace, founder and partner of Dead Ball Displays. 

Founder and partner of Dead Ball Displays, Derek has vast experience in Sales across a variety of industries. Derek always aims to achieve  building strong and long term business relations with clients.

Derek has been a professional sales representative for large multinational companies such  as Diageo and Pernod Ricard.

Derek, a Waterford native,  played league of Ireland football for Waterford United from 1982 to 1987 also playing in a European Cup Winners Cup against Bordeaux and FAI Cup.
